Weigh In is built by me, Simon Strudwick 👋.
Based in the UK, I'm a developer by trade and build the app in my spare time, between work, life, video games and my other projects.
I built Weigh In for the specific purpose of tracking weight, without all the hassle, coaching, calorie counting and complexity of other apps. The goal was simple, remind me to enter my weight frequently, set a goal and view progress.
Another fundamental requirement was for data to be kept private. When you enter weight information into other apps, there's a question of how it's being used and if it's being tracked with analytics and surveillance advertising. Weigh In doesn't do any of that, it keeps your data private to you, nothing is shared with anyone.
